Being able to stop deforestation isn’t going to be an easy task since it is going on world-wide, but now that we know the pros and cons of the situation, what environmental factors it is affecting, and how it is affecting nature should help us put it to a stop.
To stop deforestation is going to take a huge effort, but if we focus on one thing that will be a big help. The thing people need to focus more on is the value of services or resources that trees or forests provide for us rather than focusing on the value of products that are gained through deforestation (How Does). We have to take it a step at a time, but a few things we can do to help stop deforestation include combatting illegal logging, protecting forested areas, and educating local communities (How Does). If we start taking these little steps one at a time, it will help deforestation come to a stop.
As overwhelming as it may sound to try and stop deforestation since it is such a wide-spread issue, taking small steps to stop it and focusing on what our forests provide for us will make a world of difference.
